The World Cup « Result #4 Today at 9:02am »
now I felt I could only shove this thread into 'European Football' cause thats the definition of the game, whereas american football is something completely different. So I shoved it in here, as there was no board for 'Global Football'.
I would like to start off with the fact that: YES! England have undoubtedly one of, or the, easiest groups in the competition. USA will be tricky but Algeria shouldn't be too hard, as for Slovenia, even though they somehow knocked out Russia, shouldn't be too difficult either.
It's closer to a monarchy if anything, you got the king/queen head of state (Feanor), and then you got government which helps to rule by passing laws and stuff (veterans), the king does not go through election just rules till he dies/abdicates/whatever, which is pretty much what happens here as it's not like every 4 years we re-elect a new ruler of Dae. But that's as close as it gets, it's not exact Monarchy of course, there are stuff in monarchy that doesn't apply here, like voting for who wins the government elections etc. But that's the closest imo.

Well I wouldn't download all 100 of them, that would take up a ridiculous amount of hard drive space. Maybe just certain ones like Yoyorast Island v2 and Revelations.
Re: Favorite Football (american) team?! « Result #15 Yesterday at 5:52pm »
Yeah Chad Ochocinco isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, that's for sure. If you thought that "mr Bengals master" was referring to 8-3 as the team franchise record, you're sadly mistaken. I never claimed to be a Bengals expert so I'm not sure why you're questioning me about 1960s football history. When you said "lol bengals, dont you mean chad ochocinco?", you implied that the only reason the Bengals are where they're at is because of him. All I'm saying is that that's just not true, and it's a pretty ignorant statement.
If you don't mind, I'd rather get back to talking about our favorite teams than go off-topic any further. Btw, LMAO at the guy in the video. Somebody didn't take their medications before that video.
i dont think that the borrowing ss question is all that bad I mean, its a legit question maybe u dont need it right then and there.
It's usually when I'm using it to train my strength that they ask that question. If I'm trying to get strength xp, I'll always say no. If not, I'd be happy to lend it for about 10-20k per hour.
Bumping this thread again to keep you guys thinking about this day as it draws near. Let's be ready for this when it comes. I've been thinking about a couple ideas myself:
Day around Runescape - Do a little bit of every event we do on both f2p and p2p to show the veterans just what we do while we're on runescape.
Dueling Tournament - Organize a 1v1 tournament within the Dueling Arena. Veterans either come on for the opening day to watch a few matches, or for the championship matchup.
Simply some food for thought.
I like the second point, and I know what to add to it. We can have epic contests between the following:
Sly vs. Blitz Sly vs. Bodae Blitz vs. Bodae
One of those fights is more than enough to make RuneScape explode from sheer awesomeness.
If you host a Halo Trial server, I advise downloading it. Hell, if you have anything to do with Halo Trial at all, I advise downloading it. Spread the word, try to inform as many people as possible about Halo Reloaded.

Noun 1. dictatorship - a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.) monocracy, one-man rule, shogunate, Stalinism, totalitarianism, tyranny, authoritarianism, Caesarism, despotism, absolutism autocracy, autarchy - a political system governed by a single individual police state - a country that maintains repressive control over the people by means of police (especially secret police)
None of those things fit dae not even loosely.
1 - Leaders have to follow the same rules everyone else does. Theres not just 1 leader. There is rank structure. General is above Captain (who is acting when general is absent) Captain is above Lieutenant (Who is acting when Captain is absent.) and so on and so forth. LT and above have power to kick people and enforce rules, not just 1 person. I'm a socialist just as much as the next guy, dae is not a dictatorship in any of the words forms. And if Dae has any structure which I know it does, it won't allow any 1 person to be supreme and take over everything.

I know, i used dragunov primarily last time... i like the intervention, but it's a total different style... intervention 1 shot 1 kill, dragunov 2 hits but quick and little recoil
camping, the maps are more like CS maps where camping is actually possible, in cod4 it was a little harder

Well, I dont know about the patch... sometime before christmas... ? =S
As for the boosters, yea... I use cyclone in CTFs obviously, but its crap vs a good meele user with argus. Argus however, if your using SW legs, isnt that bad speed wise, and it actually drains 15 less than Cyclone.
Lately, ive actually been rocking the old dispencer, and its vertical isnt all that bad, drain is amazing, and its speed is mediocre. Not bad when you dont want to even think about your booster. IT suited my style anyways... 0o

WTF? Even Chad Johnson is a bandwagon lol. Not a fan of the guy hes a punk haha but out of Oregon state, 2nd rnd draft pick I don't expect much more. Anyone who changes their name to their jersey number is a d-bag haha. Especially cause it was in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Last time I checked, Johnson isnt Hispanic. He dnt even do it right either, 85 is ochenta y cinco. I no nothing about the Bengals? Please, just cause I dnt like the NFL doesn't mean I'm not a football fan. It's kind of hard not to know about the Bengals when they've been a team since 1968 (NFL since 1970) during the AFL/NFL merger signed in 1966. I will credit the Bengals for Bruce Coslet and Sam Wyche can you tell me why mr Bengals master? Oh and definately Bill Walsh for creating such a great offensive strategy. Can you tell me which strategy that was???.
However, if you've made it this far in reading my post I WILL agree with you that we have to let them know they're not true fans. Especially if you ask them simple questions like whos the head coach? Or whos the QB? Come on, some of the dumbass people out there. Now this is just my opinion but if you live in Cali, and your a SDSU fan wouldnt it make sense to be a Charger fan? Unless your like me and don't like the NFL but I digress. Bandwagon = Groupies. I hate both of those things. Just like I hate this D-BAG. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX6jhLlB_Sw The guy can't even get off the couch let alone throw a football. Including himself "we" "we" w/e dude haha.

That goes to show a couple things:
1. You don't know much about the Bengals - Chad Ochocinco isn't the only reason why the Bengals are 8-3: you don't get that good of a record with just one good player playing. Cedric Benson has played a major role as well in their success, not to mention Carson Palmer is putting up some nice stats.
2. Bandwagons are everywhere, not just the nfl - Don't hold it against the nfl for having bandwagons when every sport has them as shown by your Florida Gator example. Let's face it: the well-known, successful teams in sports are going to have band wagoners. We simply have to think past that and let them know they're not true fans when the time comes around.

I found that pissy. The original AUG A1 is an assault rifle with an inbuilt scope. Instead they have some AUG LMG crap...and i find it annoying that there is no Dragunov in online...and a few other guns, such as the G36 (like toro said) are MISSING. And there are too many campers.

Since I now have my Hyperion, I tried out my full tc mech and weapon setup (obviously there's no Aegis yet, so I used a Force Shield-A as a tempory replacement) in a territory control. And it was brilliant. But one thing that I found slightly irritating is the fact that the Cyclone has pretty crap vertical-lift speed. And I would use an Argus, but it drains too much energy

Re: Just an idea « Result #39 on Dec 3, 2009, 6:11am »
ok, i'll start it out from the top of the "pyramid"
feanor-> master of the clan, he has total control-> dae branch leaders (blitz, etc) they have total control of what they want to do in their branch and how to run it-> any further subcategory
like i said, it may appear to be a democracy, but by definition it is a dictatorship. The leader's words can overrule anyones. Trust me, there have been many circumstances on this site where democracy is not something that prevails.

Re: Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (again) « Result #40 on Dec 3, 2009, 6:07am »
in cod 4 it was varied like this, but another thing I dont like is the assault guns have been nerfed a lot. The AK you have to wait till 70 to get, and i can't even think of the differences between them. I liked the G36C the most and they took it out, and put in the famas (clarion) and scar and some other shit, I didn't like it
also, bulpup (aug) shouldn't be a machine gun, i'd still put it as a rifle

another thing i'll add about this, the weps in general. heard some peeps complaining that there isn't that much of a difference between the guns now, you can just pick up any of them and the results will be mostly the same. However being me again, i'm comparing this topic to world at war again, and doing so I think this is good as well. When you get into a game on mod war 2 there's actually variety, like you see people running around with LMG's, SMG's e.t.c., which is very nice compared to cod 5 where roughly 85% of the time you would only see ppl using mp40's, which I just got pissed off with eventually.

alex ferguson? to be honest I think he's bit of an idiot to put it politely. Sure he's a great manager, but look at how he slagged off those refs, my opinion he's a lil bit of a sore loser when his team gets beaten in those important matches, blames everyone but himself and his team

lol bengals, dont you mean chad ochocinco? haha bandwagon and a half. And I mean people are just jumping to the NFL because everyone else is. Like, when teams win the superbowl. I don't know how many times Ive heard ppl change their team just to be a fan of the winning team? The other day I was talkin to my neighbor. He saw me with my UCLA hat on and he said ppfft UCLA, Louisiana sucks. ? I was like yeah im not a Louisiana fan either. So why you wearing the hat? I said University of California Los Angeles? I asked him who was his team already knowing the answer to be South Carolina Gamecocks. He told me Florida because they're undefeated? Dude you know how many times I've heard this guy badmouth Florida? Watch, as soon as the superbowl comes around look how many new fans are gonna be around that don't know shit about shit. Thats a bandwagon. Hey everyone else is doin it I want to fit it too.
