Shippo left ages ago. He told me he wanted to distance himself from dae, or somthing like that. Deleted his account here, too. He set up his own clan called Illusion. Good luck with that.
Cyborg left. Sully left. Many others left, me included. I joined another clan. Thats pretty much it, for now.

well in my opinion anyway the prob is that once you've got all the stuff, and done everything a dozen or so times it just becomes tiresome, I can barely play it now because it feels like i'm being stoned every time I play an ls, and I can't play pvp because this crappy con keeps spiking the game every 5 secs as well dc'ing me every hour. idk if this is the same for a lot of other people (excluding sully, cyb + cyc) but I just can't stand exteel because of it.

Eh, theres this point, where you havto grind Lses, and it sucks, and you need more stuff, and its hard to fight lv 80 players, and such, things seem repetative....
I kindof got passed it though, made some friends on the community, got on Vent (that helps ALOT, even if you dont talk, just listen)
And you hit a point where you just play CTFs, and buy a SHITLOAD of repair pts, and repair after everygame, and you actually make a profit and dont need Lses.
And trust me, theres lotsa crazy sht you can do, i mean, capping itself is always a challange, and theres ways to make it interesting...
But theres this point, like i said, lv 40-60, that is just... hard to get passed.
Once you get into a grove, the game opens up.
--and toh, the community isnt bad, its just realy tight-knit, and you need to work at it abit to gain respect and recognition.
Its hard for us TBers, cause for 4 years, TB community was practically the biggest community we knew.
Ive been getting into the exteelers group though, and they arent all that bad a bunch.
Some are only nice when you get on thier good side, which isnt always easy.

it's hard because while you may have the skill at a lower level, if you don't have time to get mad money, people can beat you just because they have better weapons/ mech.
if there was an easier way to get money/ everyone had an equal amount of equipment then I would like it more

like, could you imagine TB if you had to play noob rooms to get money, and that the more money the better tank you could buy, where it goes faster and has higher defense, and you could buy a cannon that shoots fireballs? then you have someone that is more skilled then you, but hasn't played for long so they have a standard tank and standard cannon, of course you would win

Thats the idea behind sticking to your level - rooms.
It all works till your lv 40, then its expected you have enough sht to survive All rooms.
Either way, you loose a CTF, you get 1500 creds, you win, its 2500, so...
Its not THAT bad, but there is at least 40 hours of LS-5 grinding that would probably help. lol.
So yea, thats abit of a downfall.
I looked at my LS hours... And i have 250 hours purely logged in LS.
I mean once i got all my sht though, the game became 100x better, but its getting to that point, like you said, that takes time, and is annoying.
I guess you realy havto want to be good on it.... and i mean REALY. want to. like, obsession want to. xD

btw the one thing thats driven me nuts about this is how long it takes to start a game, today I had to sit through 30 mins of people bickering about who should go where, get that stacker out e.t.c. It promptly dced me with 2 mins on the clock left.

Dude.... Just leave, and find one thats partialy through, even if its horrably stacked when you get in, just try and get a posative K/D.
UNLESS you realy give a damn about your Win/Loss record... I gave up ALONG time ago on that, just have fun with it. =]
And if you see one waiting with like, 10/16, go in, check it out, if its stacked, leave it, dont even bother.
Always check the TCs too... unless you care horrably about your K/D... lol.
You know how to sort all the games by Mode right? At the top of the games list, there are catagories... click the words "Mode" or w/e, and itl sort em by the type of game and such... handy.
I duno theres still good games, but the key is getting into the community, and it becomes easier to fight them, and fight alongside them. =P

quite right Sul, people who take these sort of games seriously are no fun to play with at all. I would do more Territory Controls but there never seems to be any running. I've only ever done about 10 tc's with my account ^^
