Well, since price is included, abyssal whip or dd(p++.) Norris had a good point about the poisoned dagger. It may not be the best weapon in terms of total power, but as far as price goes, I'd say you're getting a lot more for what you paid for than you would be buying, say, a whip or even a godsword. It has decent hits and the poison really helps out. Plus its speed is superb.

Cond said for KO, though, and I have to agree with him there. Its strength boost is greater than that of the dds. That's why you wear them down with the dds, then swap to maul and finish them off with a swift FALCON KICK. Or whatever the Falcon Kick of a maul would be.

More like wearing the person down with range or something. I think DDS and granite mauls are the most common KO weapons.

For range, I think rune crossbows or magic shortbows are best all-around weapons.

I'd definitely say rune crossbows are better than magic shorts though. Especially with diamond bolts(e). Can you say BEAST?

I like to bring both when I PK. Rune crossbow with dragon bolts (e) for back up KO weapon if my DDS or granite maul failed. Surprisingly, I got more KOs with a rune crossbow than DDS or granite maul.

That doesn't surprise me. With a good range level, a rune crossbow can take people by surprise.

I have one question though... can you actually cause damage to anything with flowers equipped?
